Warm and windy weather continues to blow into the bluegrass state. This is ahead of a cold front that arrives on Wednesday. This front will bring a round of thunderstorms to central and eastern Kentucky late in the day.
Some of these storms may be strong with damaging winds and hail the main threats. The prime time for these storms arriving looks to be after 5pm.
A few storms will hang around into Thursday as the front slides through here. That boundary will bring slightly cooler air for Friday with readings in the 70s.
The Memorial Day Weekend looks mainly dry with temps warming into the 80s by Sunday and Monday. Isolated storms may come calling by Monday and Tuesday.
