Our steamy and stormy weather pattern rolls on across central and eastern Kentucky. The muggy atmosphere will help lead to some booming thunderstorms through the rest of the week.
These scattered storms will contain a ton of lightning and very heavy rainfall. That may lead to local high water issues at some point over the next several days.
A few of the storms may be on the strong side with hail and high winds possible.
Daytime highs through Friday will be in the low to middle 80s with overnight lows down into the mid 60s.
A break in the storms looks to take place over the weekend as partly sunny skies take over. The storms won't get too far away and should return into early next week.
