Stray bullet narrowly misses sleeping child

LEXINGTON, KY (WKYT)- Lexington Police say they are investigating after a woman called 9-1-1 saying she had heard several shots fired and then saw a bullet come through her ceiling.
Police say the incident happened at the Imperial Trailer Park on West Louden right after midnight on New Year's Day. Officers say that the stray bullet ended up just a few feet away from a sleeping child.
At this point, investigators do not believe that anyone was trying to hit the trailer or the people inside.
