LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - We're learning new information about the partial collapse of a floor at a Lexington apartment building.
No one was injured in the collapse at a fourth floor apartment of "The Lex" over the weekend.
Firefighters opened the ceiling underneath that apartment to inspect the damage.
On Monday, leaders at "The Lex" tell us a structural engineer looked at the damage and ruled only two apartments are affected.
They also said there's a policy that limits the number of people allowed inside an apartment.
Firefighters said close to one hundred people were partying inside the apartment at the time of the incident.
No word if any action will be taken against the tenants of that apartment.
