Student arrested for threatening school

Posted: Fri 3:58 PM, May 04, 2012

According to administrators at Knox Central High School an 18-year-old, recently enrolled student, had created a disturbance in class.

Barbourville Police say, once the teacher and a school employee confronted the student about his actions, he stated to the employees that he would just come and blow up the school.

Officers responded to the high school where the student was held under supervision in the principal's office without incident. Statements were gathered from school employees and police ended up arresting the student for terroristic threatening.
