Summer breaks out on Sunday

If the warmth of Saturday wasn't enough for you... Sunday will be perfect for you. Highs will soar in the low 80s and maybe even a few mid 80s in Southern Kentucky. If you have an outdoor project or if you are interested in just enjoying weather.. Sunday is your best day for a while.

Showers and storms will be back on Monday. We could even track a few stronger thunderstorms as a frontal boundary sweeps through the area. This is one of those transitional fronts that has all kinds of cold air loaded up behind it.

The col air dives into Kentucky on Tuesday and even tries to fire off some flakes of snow. We are literally half-way through the month of April and talking about flakes... again. Temperatures during the afternoon and evening on Tuesday will only make it into the mid 40s.

The cold air will hang around early on Wednesday morning too. This time with no snow... but a great possibility of a frost!
