Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows tonight. Many areas may wake up to thermometer readings below zero.
Foggy conditions will settle in across Central & Eastern KY during the overnight hours. Some locations will see visibility drop to one mile or less. A few showers will be possible during the overnight, but most of us will stay dry.
The heat and humidity will be back full force starting on Monday. Most areas will jump into the upper 80s for highs. A stray shower or two will likely pass through some areas. This will cool some of us off briefly. That's the only relief from the heat we'll see on Monday or Tuesday.
Tuesday features more showers and thunderstorms. The chances will be a little more widespread. I don't think this will keep the heat from building into the area. How about another shot of temps in the low 90s? It will likely happen Tuesday and Wednesday.
Midweek will feature heat and better chances of storms. We could actually see some strong or even severe storms as well. It will all be about timing. This could be a late Wednesday event or a Thursday event. We'll be watching the this over the next few days.
