Humidity creeps back into Kentucky

By  |

Summer is coming back to Kentucky. So far this August has been lackluster as far as heat is concerned. Not one actual high has hit the 90 degree mark. The trend is suggesting it will be hard to get there at all this month. The return of summer really means that we'll see the humidity begin to increase on Sunday. The heat will follow later this week.

With the increased humidity comes the chance of showers and storms. We'll see mainly scattered showers and storms here in the area. Basically, the end of your weekend will not be a washout. Just enough to keep Defender very busy during the tracking process.

A very familiar pattern will be setting up this week. It's one that includes showers and storms during every single day of the forecast.
