A band of heavy rain continues to sink southward into the region. We will have to keep a close eye on this later this evening into tonight. The rest of the forecast remains unchanged with a major winter storm moving in late Wednesday and Thursday.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - We're in for another great day for outdoor activities. Sunday we'll have plenty more sunshine and seasonable temperatures. A few areas may reach 60 with lows in the mid 30s.
Into next week this strong area of high pressure begins to move to the east and allow for a weak upper level disturbance to bring a few more clouds on Tuesday but it looks like rain will stay away. Then we continue into Thanksgiving with more sunshine and temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s. We may see a huge drop in temperatures late Friday as a strong cold front rolls in. Next weekend may be much cooler.
