Rounds of showers and thunderstorms could cause issues across the region Saturday. Damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes will be possible.
It has been a beautiful Saturday with highs topping out around 70 with sunshine and gusty winds. Those gusts increased the wildfire threat causing officials to issue a Red Flag Warning to the west of the viewing area. Tonight clouds will be on the increase with a low of 49 and breezy winds. As a very weak cold front stall to our north on Sunday we will see gusty winds and scattered showers especially in afternoon. Highs will reach the mid 60s.
We will keep a slight chance of rain and storms in the forecast. Temperatures will continue to climb through next week with highs near 80 on Wednesday. Then a cold front will bring more seasonable temperatures through the end of the week.
