He says he's sick and tired of it and it's happened multiple times at the Subway location off of Nicholasville Road. Now the owner is asking for the publics help.
"At this store we've been hit numerous times. If I'm not wrong, it's over seven times including the three times we got hit on the other side in the Kroger plaza," said store owner JJ Sambi.
Sambi is at a loss, and not just due the money a masked man took from his Subway restaurant Thursday night around 9.
"I have employee loss because people don't want to come work at an unsafe place. So we just have to go through suffering," Sambi said.
Sambi says the most recent robbery happened last March. The clerk, who can be seen opening the safe for the robber, was actually working then as well and told her boss she believes it was the same man.
"I don't know really what to do, what else can I do? Except make it a guarded place with an armed sentry sitting out front and in the back," added Sambi.
What makes these crimes a little more personal for Mr. Sambi is the fact that his son was a clerk at the store during one of the armed robberies.
The suspect is described as a black man, around six feet tall. He was last seen wearing a light-colored hoodie and pants.
He was also wearing a black ski mask and gloves.
