Suspect in custody after attempted bank robbery

Lexington, Ky. (WKYT) - An attempted robbery at Central Bank Monday morning ended with a quick arrest.

Lexington Police say the suspect passed a note to the teller who didn't believe the man was armed, so she told him no.

The man then ran from the bank.

The bank was able to get photos of the suspect to the Police Department.

A UK Police dog was nearby and was able to track the man to inside a nearby Kroger, where officers made an arrest.
