Suspicious fire under investigation

IRVINE, Ky. (WKYT) - Crews have cleared the scene of a large fire that destroyed several buildings.

The Estill County Fire Department says they first got the call to Barnes Mountain Road around 2:30am Monday morning.

Crews say the fire destroyed a vacant home and an outbuilding. No one was injured.

Firefighters tell WKYT they don't know what caused the fire. The case has been turned over to an arson investigator.
