Package of light bulbs causes scare in downtown Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A section of downtown Lexington is back open after someone found a suspicious package.

The discovery was made at the Community Trust Bank on Vine Street.

Multiple police and fire units were called to the scene. Police brought in a hazardous devices unit. After an inspection, they determined that the package contained light bulbs.

Vine Street was closed near the library for a while, but it has since re-opened.
