TRAFFIC ALERT: I-75 work planned at Clays Ferry Bridge

Two southbound lanes of Interstate 75, at the Clays Ferry Bridge, are scheduled to be closed Tuesday morning. The state says the road will close from 6:00am to 11:30am at the Fayette/Madison County line. The state says the closure is for bridge deck repairs.

Road crews say one lane will be open to traffic at all times during the scheduled work hours. The state says appropriate signage will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public.

The Kentucky Transportation Department says the starting date and duration of work are dependent on weather conditions and may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseen delays. Dial 511 or log on to 511.ky.gov for the latest in traffic and travel information.
