Teen collecting Thanksgiving donations, searching for families in need

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - A Central Kentucky teen is busy boxing up Thanksgiving dinners, and needs your help finding families in need of them.

Nicholasville teenager Reese Kemp, who is battling cystic fibrosis, wanted to make a difference this Thanksgiving for families in need. He's asking for food item donations, but he also needs suggestions of families who are in need of a good Thanksgiving dinner.

"I don't want anyone to go through that feeling of waking up as a mother knowing, 'how am I gonna give my kids Thanksgiving meals or how am I gonna eat?' So I just wanted to make everyone enjoy the holidays," explains Kemp.

The teen can be reached at reese.kemp@yahoo.com. He plans to deliver the meals Sunday.
