LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The Laurel County Sheriff’s office is investigating after a teenager was hit crossing a highway Thursday night.
It happened around 10:30pm Thursday night, just 10 miles south of London on Ky 312 East. The sheriff’s office reports that a 17-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car driven by 36-year-old Neal Arnold of Corbin.
Arnold told police that he did not see the young man, because he was wearing dark clothing.
The teen was airlifted to UK and his condition is unknown at this time.
