A car crash has claimed the life of a central Kentucky teen.

State police say 18-year-old Amanda Little lost control of her car on a curve off KY 876 in Madison County, Saturday night.

The car crossed the center line, hit a tree and crashed into a ditch. The coroner pronounced Little dead at the scene.

Little was a 2010 graduate of Madison Southern High School in Berea. She was the 2010 prom queen and captain of the Southern Belles Dance Team. She was currently attending Eastern Kentucky University where she was studying to become a teacher.

Arrangements are being handled by Oldham, Roberts, and Powell Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 14th from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 15th at 2:00 p.m.

State police are still investigating the crash.
