Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows tonight. Many areas may wake up to thermometer readings below zero.
It's pretty wild to think that we are heading into the final days of July and still are talking about lows in the 50s with highs in the 70s. I still haven't heard anyone complaining though. We are mostly dry the next couple days with some rain on the way.
Come Friday and Saturday we will be looking at our best chances of rain in the forecast. I'm not seeing a washout by any means, but I do see a slightly better chance on Saturday than Friday. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s, so I wouldn't cancel any plans of going to out to the pools or lakes.
We finally head back toward normal with our temperatures next week, but that still isn't hot. Our average temperatures for this time a year sit in the mid 80s.
