Rounds of showers and storms continue to push across the region. This action is packing a lot of lightning and heavy rainfall. Flash flooding is possible through Wednesday.
We saw some storms this weekend and felt those warm temperatures become closer to that average temperature for this time of year, which is 86°. I think we are right on it this afternoon as temperatures will be the story the next couple of days. The humidity will be on the rise too, so put those two together and you will have a slight chance at a stray thunderstorm.
Heading into Tuesday and Wednesday our temperatures will slide toward the mid to upper 80s with only slight chances of rain. It looks like storms will start to pick up during the Thursday and Friday time frame. This type of activity will take us off into the weekend.
