Temperatures slowly rising, but rain sticks around

If you aren't tired of the rain just yet you might be in the next few days. More rain in the forecast not only for today, but the next several days. Spotty showers and a few thunderstorms can be expected through the afternoon. The chances today will be much like yesterday with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

We slowly rise in the temperature category the next few days with highs in the 70s with the highest temperature on Thursday at 79°. A front approaches from the west on Friday & Saturday, which will give us scattered showers and thunderstorms. Friday is the day to watch for strong storms as instability will be the highest.

The front passes on Saturday night which will give us MUCH cooler temperatures on Sunday and Monday with highs in the 50s. GREEN THUMB ALERT! Overnight lows will fall to the lower to mid 30s Monday morning, so if you were thinking of planting more plants you might want to hold off for a week.
