Last night's storm has left 10,000 without power in Pike County. Pike County opened cooling centers, which are expected to be more utilized since many are without air conditioning.

According to Pike County officials, the Mouthcard and Phelps Community Centers, which were to be cooling stations, are without power. Most of the Sidney Canada area is without power and once it is restored, the Pike County Government will take a large generator to Feds Creek to supply power to the center. Until then, Pike County officials are asking people to use the ones that currently have power.

The power outages are widespread but sporadic and crews are working to get the power restored, and they are doing do at this time.
