We’re at the beginning of a gorgeous stretch of weather across the Bluegrass State. September is usually when our weather starts to turn toward the dry side, and that looks to be happening this week.
The dry weather isn’t necessarily a bad thing, considering how wet things have been this year. The past three months have been off-the-charts soggy across our part of the world.
Thursday will see highs rising to the 80-85 degree range as a few clouds increase. This is ahead of another cold front that barely slips into the region into early Friday.
That will bring us a reinforcing shot of comfy air Friday and early Saturday. Highs Friday will be back into the upper 70s under a partly sunny sky.
Tailgaters at Commonwealth Stadium will have cool temps to start: the low 50s. Kickoff temps look to be in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees under sunny skies.
