Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows tonight. Many areas may wake up to thermometer readings below zero.
Temperatures took bit of a hit with the passing of a frontal boundary on Saturday night. While it wasn't an impressive front, it did bring some cooler air into the region. Highs will be down around 10 degrees cooler when you compare it to Saturday.
A quick run back into the 60s will come on Monday though. We'll also see plenty of sunshine to greet us to start the new week.
Tuesday looks even warmer. There is a solid amount of potential to make a run at 70 degrees on Tuesday. A big storm system will be moving towards us and the southerly winds in front of it will have enough strength to put our highs in the low 70s.
The storm system will also bring a round of showers and even some storms. On the back side it brings winter back to Kentucky. We'll watch that closely!
