The wintry mess looks to move out through the day
All advisories and warnings have been cancelled. There are some slick spots on overpasses and bridges. Highs today settle in the lower to mid 30s as most of the activity looks to move out during the morning for the west/central zones and midday-early afternoon for the east/southeast zones. Thursday will be a day to watch due to the low pressure just to the south of us. 80% of the area will be dry except for our far southern zones, Pike to Perry to Whitley and points southward, that could experience a decent snow. The likelihood of this happening is increasing and I would expect a good 2-4" of snow for the zones mentioned above. We will have to watch this system because if it moves 50 miles to the south we will see nothing, but if it goes toward the north then we will see much more. We take a few days off from the crazy weather on Friday and Saturday before a wild and COLD arctic system takes place on Sunday through next week.
