High pressure is set to dominate the region for the next several days. Expect a dry, cooler and pleasant day with lots of sunshine. There may be a stray cumulus cloud or two this afternoon with highs in the middle to upper 70s. Get ready for some cooler temperatures tonight, especially in the outlying areas with lows dipping in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
As the high drifts to our east tomorrow, expect warmer, more seasonal highs (lower 80s) under a mostly sunny sky. We’ll stay in the dry with slightly higher humidity from mid –week through Friday. Highs remain in the lower to middle 80s with early sunshine leading a partly cloudy afternoons. For now, the next chance for precipitation will be with the arrival of an upper level trough sometime this weekend. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible both Saturday and Sunday with temperatures backing off to the 70s by Sunday.
Have a great work week.
