Thieves target a fire department for the second time.

Officials from Phelps Fire and Rescue in Pike County say someone broke into their Majestic substation on May 18th and stole $10,000-$15,000 in equipment.

The stolen items include a unit used for extracations.

The substation is closed until a security system is in place, or until a new, more secure station can be built.

Phelps Fire is offering a $500 reward in the case.
