Six robberies on the north side of Lexington in as many days have police searching for multiple suspects.
The most recent target was this Speedway on Paris Pike.
Aaron Hogan was talking to a friend who works here outside when they were approached by the robber.
"Had us at gun point, told us to go inside and empty out the registers. And I informed the guy that I didn't work there. And still, he proceeded to drag me behind the counter at gunpoint, and had my buddy Chris, that works here, empty out the cash register and had us lie on the floor and took my wallet. And I think took his wallet out of his back pocket," said Hogan.
"Somebody gonna take somebody's wallet, he just got a load of money out of the cash register. Why take your time and take something out of somebody's wallet when you've already got the police looking for you?" added Hogan.
And police are looking. Investigators on scene say there are similar characteristics to yesterdays Shell station robberies.
"The description is very similar to some of the other robberies we've had at some of the convenience stores, time of day...wouldn't be able to say for sure it's related but there are a lot of similarities. We'll look into that for sure," said Lt. Clayton Roberts with Lexington Police.
But a representative for Lexington Police says the latest suspects height differs from previous descriptions.
Police say the Speedway robbery suspect is a black man, around six feet four inches tall, 170 pounds. He was seen wearing black shorts, a black shirt and had a white shirt covering his face.
