Third fire in three days destroys central Kentucky home

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WKYT) - Investigators want to know what sparked a fire that destroyed a home.

It started just before midnight on Sunday on Dogwood Lane, off Rockwell Road, just outside of Clark County.

Officials say since Friday, they've responded to three different fires at the same home.

The first fire was ruled electrical.

The family was forced to leave when officials cut electricity to the trailer after the second fire, which only adds to the mystery of what sparked Sunday night's fire.

No one was injured, but firefighters rescued two kittens that were trapped inside.

WKYT is told investigators will be back on the scene early Monday morning to try and determine a cause.
