Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
It's Friday the 13th with a full moon. We have scattered showers with a few rumbles of thunder. This will mainly take place in the morning for the west. Toward the afternoon and evening the rain pushes east and southeast.
The front brings in dry conditions for the weekend. It look phenomenal on Saturday with highs in the upper 70s with sunny skies. Come Sunday we will have partly cloudy skies and much warmer. Our highs reach the mid 80s.
Next week will feature all of those things we have learned to love or hate about Summer in Kentucky... heat with highs nearing 90°, humidity, and a daily storm threat.
