Thousands attend 60th annual Nibroc Festival

The 60th annual Nibroc festival has begun.

The streets were blocked as thousands came to downtown Corbin to enjoy the rides, food, craft booths and entertainment. Folks said it is fun for all ages.

“We brought my cousins down to the carnival. we are just having a blast,” said Josh Good.
“There is all kinds of great food, there is a volleyball tournament going on over there, it's just all kinds of fun here at Nibroc.”

The band “Styx” performed on Friday and the festival will continue through the weekend. “Nibroc" is Corbin spelled backwards.
