LEXINGTON, Ky (WKYT) - Three people were hurt in a chain-reaction crash on southbound I-75 overnight.
Four vehichles were involved in the accident near mile marker 103... not far from the Athens-Boonesboro exit.
Police say it started with a driver who dropped his cell phone and when he bent over to pick it up, he slammed into the center wall and ended up facing the wrong direction on the interstate.
The driver of the second vehicle that hit the pickup truck has life-threatening injuries. Two others suffered minor injuries. There names have not been released.
