Three UK football players cited for drug possession

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Three University of Kentucky football players face legal trouble after UK police filed drug charges against them.
Junior running back Raymond Sanders, redshirt freshman wide receiver Bookie Cobbins and redshirt freshman cornerback Marcus Caffey are all charged with possession of marijuana.
According to the arrest reports, a UK police officer on patrol smelled marijuana coming from an address at the Cooperstown Apartments on Woodland Avenue. The arrest report says all three players admitted smoking marijuana. The three are scheduled to be in court on October 9.
Sanders and Cobbins were suspended for the Western game but UK Coach Joker Phillips says the have been reinstated to the team. Caffey is academically ineligible for the season.
