Three arrested after child found in home where drugs were being made

FLATWOODS, Ky. (WKYT) - Three people were arrested in Greenup County after a child was found in a home where drugs were being made.

Police responded to the home on E.C. Drive in Flatwoods Kentucky around 7:30 Saturday morning in reference to a 911 hang-up call.

When they arrived at the residence they found a 3-year-old child within feet of where Methamphetamine had been made just hours before.

Several items used to manufacture the drug were also found within the home and throughout the property.

The child's parents, Gary Tackett, 37, and Jodi Tackett, 36, were both arrested and charged with Wanton Endangerment and Manufacturing Methamphetamine. The child's aunt, Jessica Anders, 36, was also charged.

All three are lodged in the Greenup County Detention Center.
