Three injured in dragway crash

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Three people were seriously injured in a crash last night at a Kentucky dragway.

Witnesses at the Ohio Valley Dragway off of Dixie Highway in Louisville say a drag racer had a medical condition and was idling when he hit a member of his crew and a member of another driver's crew.

All three suffered serious injuries, and the driver's crew member suffered a serious head injury.

The driver was flown to University Hospital.
