Well we better enjoy the next couple of days because come the weekend we will be cold and damp. Today we will be seeing a few clouds as highs work there way in the upper 70's. Friday will be warm as we will see plenty of sunshine and highs nearing 80 degrees. Those southerly winds will not only be bringing in warmer air, but moisture as well out ahead of this next wild system for the weekend. Friday will be dry for most of the day, but by night time we will start seeing showers develop in our western zones. This rain will then spread eastbound overnight. Initially we have thought Saturday would be very soggy, but recent weather models have since backed off on the rain a bit. We will still see showers, but the amount has decreased. Also, a dry period is poised to settle in for a few hours during the afternoon. We will have to wait and see if there is some consistency before we can say this is definite. What we do know for sure is that it will be chilly as the front works its way through. Highs only reaching the mid 50's. We will hold onto the rain for the morning hours Sunday, but kick it out of here by afternoon. This day will be the coldest as highs for the west will be in the lower 50's and upper 40's for the east! Overnight into Monday morning looks like our growing season will come to an end. Lows will fall at or below freezing as some locations will see the backyard thermometer readings in the upper 20's!
Enjoy the next couple of days!
