LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Tornado Watch has just been issued until 11pm for much of Southwestern, Central, and even into Eastern Kentucky.
Scattered storms may spin up some brief tornadoes along with the threat of damaing winds, lightning, and heavy rain.
Squalls will move to the northeast very quickly overnight. The rain and storms will continue through Labor Day in waves as the remnants of Isaac moves across the region. We'll keep you updated on air and online as the weather develops.
Scattered storms will stay in the forecast through the week as a tropical airmass stays in place. Highs will be in the mid 80s with lows near 70 each day. Rain chances will decrease toward the end of the week.
