LEXINGTON, KY. (WKYT)-This is the salsa recipe as provided by Wild Thyme in Lexington for WKYT This Morning viewers.

Touchdown Salsa:

2 cans black beans
2 small cans white corn (preferably shoe peg corn)
2 cans diced tomatoes with green chilis (hunts brand preferred)
1 jalapeno pepper seeded and finely chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, seeded and diced
1 small can of salsa verde (found in international food section)
1/4 red onion, chopped
1 lime-juiced
1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
2-3 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp garlic powder
1-2 dashes of frank's hot sauce
season with salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 jar picante sauce (or more if you like a thinner salsa)
diced avocado, optional (will not keep as long))

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. It is better to allow the salsa to sit so the ingredients meld together. Serve with corn chips.
