Tracking Kentucky wildfires: Rowan County

ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A wildfire continues to burn in Rowan County, but crews are getting closer to getting it under control.

Forestry officials say the fire is almost 100% contained, and there are still 40 firefighters on the scene.

Forestry officials say they are working three fires this afternoon, Jackson and Clay being the two others.
