Rain and a mix continues to work into eastern Kentucky as temps drop into the 30S. The next round of mix and snow slides in late this evening into tonight from the northwest.
A cold front is swinging into the bluegrass state tonight and will bring the threat for scattered showers and storms. This action is in and out of town pretty quickly on Tuesday with highs in the upper 60s.
Gusty winds will blow much colder air into central and eastern Kentucky by Wednesday morning. That's when temps could drop into the low and middle 30s. Patchy frost will be possible.
Thursday looks like another great day as temps warm into the 70s. Gusty winds will blow some clouds into town by the evening and those clouds could bring scattered showers and storms our way on Friday.
Slightly cooler air moves in for the weekend and we could see some showers and storms return by Sunday. Unsettled weather looks to set up shop around here into next week.
