Scattered showers and storms continue to push across the region for this Friday. Local high water issues remain possible through the evening hours.
The strong and severe storms of Tuesday produced all kinds of damage across southern and eastern Kentucky. We'll most likely see a few showers overnight, but nothing close to severe. Just an occasional shower here or there.
Scattered showers and storms will be likely on Wednesday. These storms won't be quite as intense as Tuesday's. We'll likely see highs jump back into the upper 70s. Most of the storms will wrap up late that evening.
Our 7-Day is full of chances of showers and storms. However, don't let that intimidate you. Toward the end of the week we'll start tracking only isolated chances of showers and storms. During the same time our storms become isolated, the heat will become a little more prominent. It will look and feel a little more like June.
