Tracking the potential for strong to severe storms

Thoughts have not changed much with the possibility of strong to severe storms this afternoon through the night. The main timing on these storms will start around 1pm-3pm. Prime time for possible severe storms will be late afternoon/early evening. There will be more chances off into the night. Things should calm down a bit around the midnight hour. Damaging winds will be the main threat with hail and small risk of tornadoes possible.

Rain sticks around mostly during the morning hours on Thursday before exiting. MUCH cooler air filters in behind this rain with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Grab that coat before you take off.

The cool air sticks around through the weekend as our rain chances calm down toward Saturday and Sunday.
