ASHLAND, Ky. (WKYT) - According to emergency responders, one lane of Interstate 64 is closed due to a rock slide and tractor-trailer crash.

Highway crews are working to clear a boulder from the road just before exit 191. That exit is still open.

Anyone heading east on I-64 toward Ashland, Catlettsburg, or other destinations along US 23 should expect delays. To avoid traffic, crews recommend using exit 185 to KY 180 and then accessing US 23 in downtown Ashland through US 60.

Responders are warning motorists to watch for emergency crews directing traffic.

As of now, all westbound lanes of I-64 are open.
