A traffic stop leads to sheriff's deputies to a large amount marijuana in a vehicle.

Madison County Sheriff's deputies made a traffic stop on a 1993 Ford pickup in the area of Cain Springs and Doylesville Road. The deputies stopped the vehicle due to a traffic violation. After getting a reaction from a K-9, deputies searched the vehicle and found approximately four pounds of marijuana.

That discovery led deputies to a home on Sands ridge Road in Waco.
Sheriff's detectives say that Billy Paul Graham, who lives at the home, gave them permission to search it. Officers found approximately one pound of marijuana, cash, and a loaded handgun.

43-year old Melonie L. Dole of Richmond was charged with trafficking in marijuana over 5 pounds. 59-year old Billy Paul Graham was charged with trafficking in marijuana over 5 pounds. Both were lodged into the Madison County Detention Center.
