Kentucky State Police tell 27 NEWSFIRST that during a traffic stop on I-75 in Whitley County, they got suspicious that something illegal was going on inside the car, so they searched it.
Inside the driver's luggage, they say they found more than $143,000 dollars in cash.
We're told the drug enforcement administration seized the money and is investigating.
