Hundreds braved the hot weather Saturday to celebrate a big accomplishment.
Transylvania University held commencement Saturday morning in Lexington.
241 people received their Bachelor of Arts degree from the school.
Renowned poet Bianca Spriggs, a 2003 Transylvania grad, gave this year's commencement address.
She did a poetry reading, accompanied by a graduate on keyboard.
