LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- A tractor trailer driver had to be taken to the hospital Wednesday night, after being hit by a tree limb.

It happened just before 10:00 p.m. along South Hanover Avenue, off Richmond Road.

Emergency crews say the driver told them he was just following GPS, when he hit a low tree limb.

We're told he got out of the truck and the limb fell on him.
