Tuesday's First Alert Forecast

Updated: Tue 6:38 AM, Sep 25, 2012

We start cool and end warm and rainy today. A front to our north will provide us with some scattered showers and few thunderstorms today. The best chance for strong to severe storms will be located to our northwest from Covington to Louisville to Owensboro. Not looking at widespread rain today, but our chances are decent, so an umbrella would be safe to carry along. Highs today will settle in the lower to mid 70's. Few showers through the night with lows around 60. Much of the same will occur the next several days as this front looks to hang around giving us showers and thunderstorms all the way through the weekend. It looks like the most amount rain will occur today through tomorrow, but the best chances of seeing rain will be Thursday through Saturday.
