We are keeping the wet pattern going today, but nothing like yesterday. There will be off and on showers and thunderstorms where showers will be to the south and west; storms to the north and east. Storm Prediction Center has outlined an area east of I-75 for the potential for a marginal chance of severe weather this afternoon. Strong winds will be the main player, but can't rule out an isolated tornado either even though there is a very, very slight chance of that happening. This will all be a possibility especially if the sun comes out and heats up the ground. Highs today will be in the mid 70's. Rain should start to move out for nearly all areas overnight and into tomorrow. We will still be left with cloud cover as highs in the lower to mid 70's. Thursday and Friday will be days in between systems, which will give us two nice weather days. Friday night into Saturday morning a big time front moves through, which will bring us a few showers on Saturday with highs only reaching 60. Sunday and Monday you will REALLY feel it and hear about it as well. Our highs only reaching the mid to upper 50's with overnight lows in the 30's. The way we will hear about it is our friends to the north of us might be looking at some snow. Unfortunately or fortunately, however you want to look at it, it looks very unlikely for us.
