Two accused of printing fake money

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Two men are in jail, accused of printing fake money.

WKYT obtained the arrest citation Thursday morning for Willie Collins and Steven Napier.

Lexington police say they caught up with the couple on Wednesday at the Fairfield Inn Hotel off Newtown Pike. Inside their room, police say they found items used to make fraudulent currency and fake bills inside their wallets.

Collins is charged with 22 counts of forgery, Napier with three counts of forgery.

Both men will be arraigned in court Thursday.
